Mohegan Film Production is run by Alessandro Sangiorgi, who has achieved a Bachelor Degree in Natural History and Nature Conservation at the University of Bologna, where he wrote a thesis about wildlife documentaries and their roles in educating people about environmental issues.
He also spent one year in British Columbia, Canada, where he got a Master in Cinematography at the Victoria Motion Picture School; during this period he filmed some special moments of Canada's wildlife and made a documentary about the relationship between the whale watchers and the killer whales of the Straits of San Juan.
Furthermore, he locally shot some promoting videos for two independent sight-seeing tour agencies.
Back in Italy he participated to some production and co-production as an assistant cameraman and field guide for documentaries such as "Architects of Nature", "The wild dog, the last frontier", "The return of the roe-deer", and "Pray and Predators", where he gained more experience and grew professionally.
